Wedding Policies
Payment
- All contracts must be accompanied by a $500 or 50% (of the contract value) retainer, whichever is greater. Wedding dates are considered booked only with a retainer.
- Payment plans are available for wedding dates nine or more months from the contract date. The entire amount of any contract must be paid not later than two weeks prior to the wedding.
- Weddings contracted less than 30 days prior to the wedding date must be paid for in full with the contract.
- Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express are welcome.
- A charge of $20.00 will be made for all returned checks.
- All in-state sales are subject to the 6% West Virginia state sales tax.
- Minimum charge for shipping print orders is $6.75. Shipping for albums, frames and previews will be more, and is not included in the price of any packages.
Web Albums
Your wedding will be photographed using the best methods available and placed on the web for you, your family, and your friends to see. The images will be categorized for easy viewing, and everyone can see all of your wedding photos only a week after the wedding, using a special site and password that only your guests will know. They can even order online! Paper previews are still available (for an additional charge), but we think you'll agree that digital previews are a much easier way to manage than the paper proofs of the past.
Newspaper photos
All of our packages include the printing of a 4x5 photo for up to three different newspapers. We will provide these for both the engagement and wedding announcements, upon request.
Photo Retouching
Complexion retouching is available in most of our enlargements; please specify which images require retouching. Additional retouching, such as eyeglass glare, stray hairs, etc. is an extra $15 per occurrence. Please advise of any desired modifications prior to ordering, as this is not automatically done in all cases. Ask to see our retouching samples.

All photographs taken by TLC Photography are fully protected by Federal Copyright Laws. Any individual who violates the law by duplicating an original or any part of an order from TLC Photography will be subject to prosecution. We take this law seriously. Please ask us if you have any questions about what this law means to you.
